I accept all PPO insurance as an “out of network provider. I will electronically bill your insurance for you, while many other providers will only provide you with what is called a “superbill” and have you send this bill via mail to your insurance company for reimbursement. By sending the information electronically to your insurance company, I will save you from the slow response time and the hassle that mailing “superbills” can create.
You will need to call your insurance provider and ask the questions below to find out specific coverage information. Many insurance plans contract with different Behavioral Health organizations to provide mental health services. This can be confusing when trying to ascertain what is covered and what is not. You will need to call the Customer Service number on the back of your insurance card for information on your coverage. Often times there is a separate Mental Health phone number on the back of your card. The information you will need to get from your insurance provider is:
