Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is simply a term that describes when a therapist is working one person in his or her office. There are not too many places in the world where you can literally say almost anything you want and not be judged or have consequences for what you say. Individual therapy is that place and it requires a very high level of privacy and confidence. My role as a therapist is to get to know you and explore with you the issues that might be causing you difficulties. While it can feel very strange entering an office for the first time and talking to a stranger about your “problems”, I can guarantee you that I will provide you with a safe and comfortable environment where you can choose to talk about whatever you like.
